Our scoring weights security 30%, privacy 20%, price 15%, platform fit 15%, ease of use 10% and features 10%. Your Finder answers re-weight those numbers around what you actually care about, so a Linux-using privacy fan and an iPhone-only beginner get different — and correct — answers.

Rankings never reflect affiliate payouts. When the owner supplies affiliate links they flow through a single redirect (/go) that is disclosed on every money page. Until then, every “Visit” button points at the provider's public site.

Prices and free plans are verified per product with last-verified dates on every review. The password-manager market moves fast — if you spot an outdated price, tell us and we'll fix it.
